Your first visit

 

Thank you for selecting ProActive Footcare to care for your feet and lower limbs, within the email we have sent to you, will include the details of your initial appointment.

 

There are a few things that we want you to know about our office procedures and what to expect on your first visit.

 

We value your time

We recognise the importance of your time (and the time of all our patients), so we aim to run our appointment schedule to time every day. Please ensure you are on time for your appointment.

Even a delay of 10 minutes may require the podiatrist to reschedule your appointment, to ensure you receive the appropriate treatment, and care without rushing. If you are unable to keep your appointment, then please contact us in advance and we will reschedule a more convenient time for you.

 

Allow some extra time for your first visit

Please arrive 5 minutes early for your first appointment to allow you to familiarize yourself with our practice and to complete some paperwork that is required prior to seeing your podiatrist for the first time. (please note: this does not apply, if you are booked in for a FREE 15min consultation).

 

Cancellations and missed appointments

We would appreciate 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment.

All missed appointments will be charged for at the full appointment rate.

 

What to bring

To ensure that we have all the information to best treat you, please bring the following items (if relevant) with your appointment, (once again, this does not apply if you are booked in for a FREE 15min consultation):

  • Private Healthcare information (if applicable)

  • Scans & x-rays (if applicable)

  • Current Orthotics (if applicable)

  • Shoes that you wear regularly (work shoes, school shoes, running trainers)

  • Referral letter (if applicable)

  • Any other relevant medical history information

 

Payment of appointment

 

Payment is expected in full at time of appointment

We take cash and card payments
